Student Services Administrator (London Central)
We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join our new and purpose built electrical training centre, based in City & Guilds Head Office in London.

This role is available on a full-time and permanent basis.

About us
City & Guilds Training – Electrical (formulary Trade Skills 4U) specialises in delivering a diverse range of electrical courses, catering to both seasoned electricians and newcomers to the trade. Our courses cover various levels in electrical installation and renewable technologies, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

Role overview
The role is to provide high standards of customer care to all students, visitors and stakeholders face to face, over the phone and email. To oversee the staff and office daily routine.

About the Role:
Tasks Specific to the Job Role
The following tasks are specific to this job role:
- Meet and greet all students and visitors to the Centre.
- Candidate Registration – registering candidates for their courses and checking ID.
- Payment – taking payments and recording details on Ledgers and our internal System.
- Generate Course Materials – Printing Course materials, handouts and any other paperwork required for courses prior to course commencement.
- Registering candidates for the qualifications using Walled Garden.
- Exam Invigilation – All aspects of Invigilation of exams as and when required including some evenings.
- Keeping accurate records of all learners and apprentices’ exam results
- Certification – Check and post City and Guild Certificates to candidates.
- Liaise with other departments as required to provide support to students and colleagues.
- Provide administrative support to Team Leaders and Senior Management Team at the Centre.
- Daily checking and responding to the enquiries in the Students Services email inbox.
General tasks
- To undertake any tasks required that are appropriate to the role and grade.
- General administration duties - filing, post, telephone, and any other reception duties stock replenishment (e.g. stationary/books orders), assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by Head of Training Operations.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake appropriate checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure as well as providing proof of the right to work in the UK.
