Lead Incident & Compliance Manager

As the Lead Incident & Compliance Manager, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for managing internal incidents related to our qualifications, products, and services. Your role will ensure these incidents are addressed from identification to resolution, mitigating adverse impacts on customers, compliance, and our reputation.
You will be working on a hybrid basis with a mix of home and office.
This appointment will be made on merit.
About the role
You will embed a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging innovative approaches to enhance incident management processes and preventative measures. Strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be key to your success, as will ensuring that incident data is accurately managed and reported to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing high-impact incidents efficiently, with clear communication to stakeholders.
- Leading and developing the Incident and Compliance Managers.
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external regulators.
- Ensuring processes are consistent, effective, and auditable.
- Using data analysis to identify risks and drive preventative actions.
- Drive process improvements while maintaining compliance.
- Employ risk strategies to assess and mitigate incident impacts.
About you
- Significant experience in a regulation or compliance manager role.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing abilities.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and quality assurance standards.
- Degree-level education or equivalent.
- Experience collaborating with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
Whilst not mandatory, it would be beneficial if you have experience working in an awarding body.
