Director of Client Solutions

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Director of Client Solutions at The Oxford Group.

The Director of Client Solutions will have overall accountability for The Oxford Group’s value proposition, driving initiatives to sustain and enhance our reputation as a leading provider of leadership development solutions.

Drawing on market, competitor and client intelligence and latest research in leadership you will shape our propositions, products, services and build partnerships to meet and exceed clients’ expectations and needs whilst anticipating and innovating for the future.

This role will be pivotal in driving our success and growth as well as unlocking wider strategic opportunities across the whole of our business and markets.

About the role

What you will be doing: 

In this role, you will shape and own The Oxford Group’s value proposition and product portfolio, ensuring alignment with the brand, overall strategy, and market opportunity.

You will lead market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities, gaps, and emerging trends, setting the direction for market-facing thought leadership, messaging, and case studies.

You will turn identified opportunities into innovative, client-focused solutions, taking them from concept through to launch with clear roadmaps and go-to-market plans.

Drawing on customer insight, best practice, and emerging technologies, you will drive product innovation and oversee full product lifecycle management, continuously optimising performance and impact.

A key part of the role involves equipping customer-facing teams with compelling, on-brand sales enablement materials and case studies, as well as evolving reusable delivery assets to ensure bespoke solutions remain credible and relevant.

You will build and manage strategic partnerships, particularly in technology and AI, use data to measure impact and inform decision-making, and engage consultants, coaches, and subject matter experts to maintain leading-edge expertise. You will also share accountability for producing high-quality, persuasive bid responses.

As a senior leader, you will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team and contribute to the overall business strategy as part of the Senior Leadership Team. You will be required to represent the business externally at events and client engagements, and champion a customer-centric, excellence-driven culture across the organisation.

About you

We are looking for an experienced Leadership or Organisational Development expert with strong leadership skills.

This role would suit candidates with previous background in roles such as; Head of Talent, Head of Learning & Development or a similar role in an organisation providing leadership and management development solutions. 

Attributes we are looking for: 

  • Proven track record of leading success in solutions, product and proposition management, within a leadership development business
  • Current and in-depth understanding of market and client needs across all aspects of Leadership Development
  • Experience in leadership solution design and delivery
  • A client centric, action-oriented, commercial and strategic mindset
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial, client-focused and quality mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information and make data-driven decisions
  • In-depth and concrete practitioner experience in leadership development and/or coaching with a strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and the competitive landscape
  • Deep knowledge of leadership best practice and organisational development, supported by a robust understanding of psychological theories that drive individual, team, and cultural performance

Ideally we would also like you to have; 

  • Proven experience in scaling leadership consulting businesses
  • Experience of adopting technology in solution design
