About the role

You will take the lead on the Target Operating Model to deliver an optimal operating model that is aligned to our strategy that is efficient, scalable and meets the regulatory requirements. You will need to deep dive into the current and interim states of the awarding organisation and create a comprehensive plan to the agreed future state and also benchmark the organisation against industry best practices to help identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

You will need to work collaboratively with the People and Communications teams to create a sustainable transformation plan that ensures colleagues and stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process. You will also need to support leaders to become effective change sponsors, whilst also working closely with the People Team to ensure that the organisation is equipped to deliver any changes.

About you

You will need demonstrable experience in target operating model design that align to strategic goals as well as understanding and application of organisational design principles. Additionally you will need experience of leading organisations through design changes with a central focus on engagement.  Naturally you will be an excellent relationship builder at all levels including executive.

A background within Human Resources and Organisational Design as well as experience within an Ofqual regulated Awarding Organisation would be ideal. This would include experience in deep dive initiatives for re structuring teams, understanding roles and responsibilities and the outputs to implement the changes required.
