We are looking for teachers to grow further our industry leading training centres that are based in Crawley, London, Coventry, Doncaster, Leeds, Warrington, Carlisle and Workington.

City & Guilds Training – Electrical (formulary Trade Skills 4U) specialises in delivering comprehensive courses in electrical installation and renewable technologies for both experienced electricians and newcomers to the trade.

As a Trainee Electrical Installations Teacher/Trainer, you'll receive comprehensive training to become a professional educator, delivering both practical and theoretical programmes to electrical installation learners.

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality and consistent electrical installation subjects

Assessing courses according to company and awarding bodies' guidelines

Reviewing student performance and implementing necessary procedures

Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity policies

Collaborating effectively within the team and with external stakeholders

 

About You:

Requirements:

 

Recent industry experience in domestic, commercial, or industrial Electrical Installation

Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths

Sound practical capabilities in Electrical Installations

Eagerness to learn and gain qualifications for teaching

 

Bonus points for

Working towards a Level 3 Teaching qualification or equivalent

Working towards a Level 3 Assessing qualification or equivalent

Level 3 electrical qualifications (C&G 2391, C&G 2382) or green credentials (Solar PV, EV,

EESS)

 

Desired personal qualities:

Good interpersonal skills with maturity and confidence

Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently

Problem-solving attitude with patience and control in challenging situations

Ownership for problem-solving and assignment resolution

Balance between leadership and being a team player
