Senior People Partner
We are recruiting for a Senior People Partner on an 18-month fixed term contract here at City & Guilds. This is a Senior Strategic HR role focused on organisational development, talent, culture, and transformation. You'll work closely with senior leaders to shape a HR Centre of Excellence, delivering people-focused, value-driven solutions aligned with business objectives.
This is a hands-on role, requiring someone ready to roll up their sleeves, drive the HR function forward, and establish it as a true strategic partner within the organisation
You will be working on a hybrid basis with a mix of home and office. We're flexible about where you might be based to undertake this role, but you'll need to be able to travel into our London office 2 days per week.

About the role
- Partner with senior leaders to drive strategic and transformational change, organisational development, employee engagement, succession planning, and performance improvement.
- Act as a trusted HR expert, coaching business leaders and influencing key stakeholders, driving a high-performance culture
- Mitigate people risks while ensuring compliance with policies and best practices.
- Lead key HR initiatives, including organisational development, talent management, and diversity & inclusion.
- Own and deliver the people strategy for your business area.
- Demonstrate and drive Inclusive Leadership behaviours that align with evolving workplace culture both externally and internally
About you
- Proven Senior HR Business Partner experience at a strategic level
- Demonstrable experience across a broad portfolio of HR disciplines including organisational design, HR transformation, change management, and culture development and talent strategies
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to win hearts and minds in complex environments.
- Resilient, commercially minded, and with deep understanding of the complex and changing landscape of HR.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to drive meaningful change.
- Pragmatic and solutions oriented
