Product Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager with experience in the education sector to join City & Guilds and support the growth and innovation of our portfolio of vocational qualifications.
As a Product Manager at City & Guilds, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of products aligning with the organisation’s purpose and strategy.
You will work closely with the Senior Product Lead to devise product strategies and map out the roadmap for product development.
As a Product Manager, you will be writing business cases and customer value propositions, so you will need to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and product development. You will also play a key role in the annual review of our product portfolio to ensure its ongoing optimisation.
Applicants should have a good understanding of product management principles and the ability to use a range of product management tools to deliver the product strategy.
You will also need a solid understanding of commercial and funded product management. This may include experience with government-funded initiatives, for example.
This is a full time role, working 35 hours per week; Monday to Friday.
We offer flexible working patterns and flexible working arrangements. You can be based anywhere in the UK but ideally you will be based close to one of our main office hubs: London, Wakefield, Burntwood or Warrington as we would like you to attend meetings as and when required.
Appointments will be made on merit.
We believe that diversity and inclusion strengthens and enriches us, and that it is the responsibility of everyone at the City & Guilds to drive this value. As ethnic minority groups and disabled people are currently under-represented, we particularly encourage and welcome applications from these communities.
