We’re looking for an Associate Manager to play a pivotal role in managing and growing our exceptional network of associate Consultants, Coaches, and Producers.

This is more than a coordination role—it’s about building relationships, making smart deployment decisions, and creating an environment where our Associates feel valued, supported, and aligned with our mission.

For this full- time and permanent role, we offer flexible working arrangements. You will need to be based in the UK, but you can be located anywhere in the country, however we would like you to be flexible to travel, mainly to London, on a quarterly basis or as per business needs.   

Appointments will be made on merit.

About the role

What you’ll do:

Associate Lifecycle Management

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of our Associates—from attraction and recruitment to onboarding, deployment, and engagement.

  • Maintain deep knowledge of each Associate’s expertise, preferences, and motivators to ensure the right people are matched to the right projects.

  • Monitor training and compliance requirements, ensuring Associates meet The Oxford Group’s high standards.

Communication & Engagement

  • Be the key point of contact for all Associates, ensuring they feel connected to our brand and values.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute an Associate engagement and communications plan.

  • Organise and lead engagement events that foster community and collaboration.

Recruitment & Resourcing

  • Anticipate resourcing needs and proactively recruit high-quality Associates to meet business demands.

  • Manage Associate contracting processes and ensure all legal requirements are met efficiently.

  • Working in close collaboration with Sales (Account Directors) and Client Delivery teams (Client Delivery Managers)  to select, resource and deploy the best consultants for each client project.

Performance & Utilisation

  • Track and interpret performance data and feedback to continually improve the Associate experience.

  • Monitor project resourcing and optimise the utilisation of our Associate network to ensure smooth delivery and project success.

Direct Reports 

  • Work closely with the Senior Management team to help set objectives and targets within your team.

  • Line Manage the Global Resourcing Administration team and support / appropriately manage their workload.

  • Experience working with senior consultants in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders—you’ll be credible, clear, and professional at all levels.

  • Exemplary planning and organising skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

  • Proven talent acquisition experience in a consulting or resourcing environment—including sourcing diverse, high-calibre talent.

  • A strong background in resourcing and allocation, ensuring optimal utilisation of people and skills.

  • Experience in designing and managing internal communications and engagement programmes, including gathering insight, analysing data, and planning action.

  • A confident and engaging personality—approachable, dynamic, and a natural relationship builder.

  • Sound judgment, proactivity, and the ability to zoom in on details without losing sight of the bigger picture.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and comfortable using data, systems, and social media platforms to communicate, manage, and analyse information.
