Risk Coordinator Apprentice

We have an excellent opportunity to join City & Guilds as an Apprentice with the view to complete a Business Administrator apprenticeship at Level 3 reporting into the Risk & Compliance Manager, working as a Risk Coordinator Apprentice. You will be responsible for the day-to-day updating, co-ordination, and escalation of our risk profile (which includes risk).

Based at our London office, you will work on a full time (35 hours) basis for the duration of your apprenticeship. This is a permanent position on the condition of completing the apprenticeship.

You will need to be a strong collaborator, as you will work alongside risk and compliance counterparts across City & Guilds. You will be responsible for the accuracy of our risk and issue registers driving resolution within expected timescales maintaining best practice.

This appointment will be made on merit.

About the role

In this important position, you will contribute towards risk and compliance reporting. One of the main components of the role is to be responsible for the tracking and escalation of risk across City & Guilds. You will be required to contribute to compliance across technical, legal, contracts, regulators and suppliers, this will include areas such as GDPR or data governance.

You will update and align our risk management systems. We would also expect you to support the Risk Specialist in other risk activities.

You will need to be based in the UK and may be required to go into the office on occasion however this role can predominantly be based from home if preferred.

About you

You should understand what risk is and how it is measured. Our ideal candidate will be extremely organised, accurate in their work and be able to prioritise their workload efficiently. You should be analytical in nature with excellent attention to detail.
