Operations Analyst

We are looking for a talented and motivated Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team on. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making to support business initiatives, implement new technology solutions, and improve ways of working.

It is essential that you have experience as an Operations Analyst with proficiency in industry recognised tools and techniques to support successful delivery of technical projects within strict timelines. 

This is a full-time opportunity with a standard Monday to Friday schedule totalling 35 hours per week, offered on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is a hybrid role with the ability to commute to our Coventry or Burntwood site when required (Approx 3-4 days a week initially). 

This appointment will be made on merit.

About the role

As an Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of tactical business improvements by using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and insights to stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough process mapping, gathering and documenting business requirements, analysing data outputs, and developing and monitoring data quality metrics to ensure business data and reporting needs are met. You will provide valuable data insights and support various projects to drive business improvements. Working closely with leadership to prioritise business and information needs, you will present your findings in a clear and engaging manner, highlighting potential risks and opportunities. Your ability to work independently, showcase initiative, and maintain a strong sense of self-drive will be essential in this role.

About you

  • At least three years of experience in business analysis, ideally in an Agile environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven experience with business process mapping and customer journey analysis.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, and other data analysis tools.
