People Services Team Leader

We are seeking a motivated and driven leader to join our People function in Wakefield.

Fantastic opportunity to lead our coordinators in delivering the day to day operations of the service department.

A self motivated proven team leader with experience in HR operations

Good technical expertise in HR systems and reporting 

Track record of influencing senior leaders

About the role

  • You will manage and lead our team of 6 people coordinators that are all based at our Wakefield office. 
  • Holding 1:1's, objective settings and performance reviews as well as allocating workloads
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of employment administration 
  • Supporting with policy and compliance 
  • Oversee data entry and integrity and GDPR compliance
  • Lead on reporting activity that support the wider people strategies 
  • Work collaboratively with Payroll and the wider people team that includes L&D and Resourcing to ensure the best employee experience. 

About you

We are looking for candidates that have:

  • Experience in a HR operations environment 
  • Team leadership experience with the ability to guide and coach team members
  • Expertise in HR systems, data, reporting and an understand the employee lifecycle
  • A solutions focused mindset and to continuous improvement 
  • Effective communication and influencing skills
